Take Your Best Shot: Smartphone Nature Photography Workshop

Come and enjoy 1 1/2 hour of hands-on fun learning about photography. This workshop is designed for teams made of kids (6-12) and adults working together; ideally one or two kids per grown-up.

Each team will need a smartphone. If you need to borrow a device, please indicate when you register.

We will look at some pictures together and learn about story-telling, composition, and camera angles.

Then it is your turn; the library and environs will become your studio to practice what you have learned.

After taking some pictures, we will return to the classroom to learn a few “post-production” tricks to give your photos the most impact possible.

This Workshop is presented courtesy of the Rideau Roundtable, and is therefore free! (However, donations are appreciated)

Snacks will be provided. If you need to borrow a phone or a tablet- please note it below on your registration form.
