About Us
We harness the excitement of learning to foster future environmental stewards.
Ecological literary has many benefits of for children:
Exercising Healthy Minds, and Strong Bodies: our indoor and outdoor programs focus on exercise, inclusion, engagement, and empowerment.
Education Beyond Classrooms: Our programs take an interdisciplinary approach that integrates ecological literacy in biology, history, geography, and cognitive and language development to encourage big-picture thinking and broader perspectives on complex economic and social issues.
Environmental Awareness: Our programs are rooted in place-based education where children’s local environment and community are the starting point of their learning. This approach ensures our programs are engaging and accessible.
Created Out of Need
There is an ongoing need for environmental education within our communities. The demand for environmental education is documented in a 2024 Federal report that states 80% of Canadians want more information on climate change.
Through our program, we provide opportunities for children to connect with nature, learn about environmental sustainability, and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world through hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences.
